Overall a decent product, fits loose around the pistol grip area. might have liked a leather one with a lace up style to get the whole thing tight. Haven't used it yet but seems like its ok. Slips around a bit on the wood stock, so I just sliced open the stretchy fabric where it fit over the gun swivel to hold it in place better. It will work ok, but there are probably better solutions out there.
Fits securely on my Savage Axis II and holds 10 cartridges of 6.5 Creedmoor. Installed without having to remove the scope--a bit of effort required to slide on over the back of the buttstock. It is rectangular, rather than fitted, so the front is just a little loose, but not problematic. Had to punch a small hole for the rear sling mount--also not a problem. Would buy again for other rifles.
It fits tight, a bit of a bother to get on but once it is on it isn't gonna give you any problems. It isn't gonna be moving around or coming off.
Appears to be very well made. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
This works very well, does not slip at all, holds 6 shells of any gauge/bore. As seen in the pic can even hold .410 shells up to 12G. Did not have a shotgun available for photos but it was slipped onto a rifle instead. Could possibly be used for a big bore rifle with larger shells such as .45-70, etc. It is even possible to have it over your wrist for bench rested shooting.
Nice snug fit on Mauser M12 extreme with no gaping at the front. 300 win mag bullets will fit with a squeeze so nice and secure.
